Data recipients and transfer to the USA
Some marketing trackers transfer data to the USA. Schrems II + GDPR art. 13(1)(f) / 44-49 require this disclosure:
- Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (EU controller) → data transferred to Meta Platforms, Inc. (USA) under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
- TikTok Technology Limited (Ireland) → data transferred to TikTok Inc. (USA) under Standard Contractual Clauses. ByteDance parent in China: TikTok Europe declares Norway/Ireland storage, but US access is possible.
- Google Ireland Limited (EU controller) → data transferred to Google LLC (USA) under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
